Dulwich Decorative and Fine Arts Society (DDFAS) was founded in 1973 to promote interest in the decorative and fine arts in Dulwich and surrounding areas.  We are affiliated to the National Association of Decorative & Fine Arts Societies (NADFAS).

NADFAS is an arts-based charity with members pursuing mutual interest in the arts through monthly lectures. There are some 350 societies in the UK and Europe, with sister organisations in Australia and
New Zealand. More than 90,000 people in the UK are NADFAS members, of whom around 6,000 are volunteers working on heritage conservation projects, church recording and a variety of educational and grant programmes involving young people. For more information, see www.nadfas.org.uk.

NADFAS is keen to promote interest in the arts among the young.  However, in the Dulwich area DDFAS considers this best carried out by the excellent education department at the Dulwich Picture Gallery.
